Established in 1969 as Uni-Sankyo, we were the first company to manufacture and sell probiotics and enzymes in India. Initially, our focus was on producing these products exclusively for our in-house brands, SPORLAC and Sanzyme. However, in 2005, we embarked on a new journey by shifting our attention to the ingredients market.

Our transition involved extensive development of clinical studies and submission of regulatory documentation to enable the sale of our probiotic strains as ingredients to external partners.

At Sanzyme Biologics, we operate state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities located in Hyderabad, India, we produce proprietary probiotic strains, patented probiotic blends, enzymes, and nutritional ingredients for humans, pets, and farm animals. Our specialization lies in manufacturing sporeforming, process-stable probiotic strains and fermentation-derived ingredients.
